Lala Chong Seafood - Kg Cempaka

On our way back home, my dad spotted Lala Chong signboard around the Shell Petrol station area (last time was Projet), so he is so tempted to try it out until last week, we went there for dinner at 8pm. It was really packed but we still manage to get a table.

While we were waiting for the food, the electricity suddenly went off, except the room with aircon. I was thinking how they going to continue cooking if no electricity? After 2 minutes, the lights came back again. Hmm, maybe this place is new so the power generator is not stable yet? (does it make sense?).
Belacan Paku Pakis (RM12). The belacan was not nice at all. I think next time I wont order Paku already coz the texture was really rough, not nice one.

Lala Fried Noodles (RM15). We ordered for 3 people portion and it came really big portion. But I still think the Coconut Flower's (Telok Gong) version is much better.

Chilli Crab (RM45 per kilo). The pricing of RM45 per kilo is RM2 more expensive than King Crab but the latter has air con and more high class ok. Since my dad was craving for crabs, he ordered it. Despite the price, the sauce was indeed very nice, not so spicy, not so tomato-ish, it was just nice.

When dipped with the fried Mantao (RM1.50 per bun), it was really good.

Lemon chicken (RM10). The chicken was crispy and was way better than the one that we ordered previously (in Terminal 2 Lala Chong).

We waited 35 minutes for our food to be served. After the first dish was served, it just stopped there until another 15 minutes later, the second dish was served. Then another 10minutes later, the 3rd and 4th one was served. The service was slow and is not right to serve one dish at an interval of 10minutes! WTH! It was just a bad experience dining here.

But we cant go back to the one in Subang Terminal coz they have shifted here. Yup, you heard me right, they have SHIFTED to this place, include the Satay stall as well.

Please dont order bombastic drinks ie. coconut (really old coconut) and fruit juice (whole lot of ice --> diluted). The coconut was priced at RM4.50 and the fruit juice was RM3. The whole dinner costs RM114.90 include 5% goverment tax and 5% service charge (what the heck they charge service charge for??? super lousy service).
