Restoran Yong Tou Foo Chan Chan - Kepong

Annie: Wanna go eat yong tou foo or not?

Me: Ok ar, where?

Annie: Kepong.

Me: =.=" har? So far ar?

Kwei: The yong tou foo there very big pieces one!

There we went ... to Kepong on Sunday afternoon for lunch after Nikky failing to reserve a place in Tenji Restaurant for Japanese buffet. So we settled with fish paste embedded with tou foo rather than cucumber embedded with japanese rice. Similar concept ma.

The variety of Yong Tou Foo in Chan Chan:

Fried stuffs (fish ball, brinjals, toufupok, dumpling etc). Each piece is priced at RM1. Although it is consider expensive in the Yong Tou Foo world, but all the stuffed ytf come in a very big piece (bigger than normal), so it was well worth the money.

Soup stuffs (dumplings, fish pastes, lady fingers, bittergout, beancurd). Again, these YTF pieces came in very big size. The soup was very sweet too.

Assam Stingray (RM14). At first, Annie thought it would come in a claypot while I thought it would come in silver foil. However, it came like this. Annie was disappointed. The assam sauce was sour but it was not spicy at all, so I doenst feel the omph for this dish. But my bro said nice wo.
